Happy New Year from MJGA
We wanted to take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy and Healthy 2020.
We look forward to helping huge numbers of you lovely people to improve your golf and increase the enjoyment you get from this great, but sometimes frustrating game.
Be patient in the early weeks of the year. Due to the weather and festivities over Christmas, you might not have dusted the clubs off so often. So ease your way back onto the range and just build that confidence slowly, no huge expectations on the results. Start with short irons, get some quality strikes going and gradually work your way through the bag. Don’t over think things, just focus on one or two of your key swing thoughts and build gradually. Timing is key in golf and when you haven’t played much, that timing gets out of sync. So keep it simple, find some timing through focused practice sessions and build that confidence slowly.
Judging by the state of the courses, I would suggest the range is the place to be for the short-term. Spring will be here before we can blink and I for one can’t wait for the longer, lighter days and some warmth on my back, bring it on!
Good luck with the practice, keep in touch and we look forward to a fun and successful year ahead.
All the best for now,
Mark, Zachery, Oliver, Todd and Fred
